Rackshack are selling domains at a loss. Yes they get special pricing from Tucows, but no where near the $5 they are retailing them at. It's all a marketing ploy. Sell you dirt cheap domains in the hope that they can sell you a dedicated server, as that is their main business. They are doing the same thing with secure certs. They sell them at a loss also.
Great for Tucows, as they still make profit.
