You can't compete. This is yet another example of big box takeovers. Wallmart drives thousands of small businesses out of business annually, steals product ideas right and left, while refusing to pay their employees a living wage, and discriminating against women and persons of color bigtime. That is why governments are legislating against them and class action suits are proceeding. Like Wallmart merchandise, Domains and certs are commodities. Rackshack is merely taking advantage of the situation. Resellers can't survive just as resellers, you have to have some value add to offer. What is your value add?

So rackshack gets their domains from tucows? How do you know they are taking a loss, maybe they just sell them for what they buy them for.

Rackshack are selling domains at a loss. Yes they get special pricing
from Tucows, but no where near the $5 they are retailing them at. It's
all a marketing ploy. Sell you dirt cheap domains in the hope that they
can sell you a dedicated server, as that is their main business. They
are doing the same thing with secure certs. They sell them at a loss
also.

Great for Tucows, as they still make profit.

Subject: rackshack how can we compete?

Is opensrs going to at least give us resellers the same price as rackshack is selling retail?
