I don't think (in fact I know) James was in any questioning the value of what George is doing generally. I will say from my perspective this was/is a thick issue. The current ICANN staff has inherited the agreements they are trying to enforce.
And we will indeed see tomorrow evening. I will be out with my wife and have already made plans to have someone who will be in front of a browser call me and let me know if it is down. I am not kidding :-). Don't tell my wife (and no she dowsn't read the list).

Frankly George, I don?t think you're being fair in your expectations. IMHO (MSRP 0.02$)
1) ICANN acted twice, they asked nicely and now are insisting. It may not suit your timetable but I think you're letting your past experience with policy that hasn?t gone your/our way cloud your judgment. In the almost 5 years I've been involved with this process I have yet to see such quick and decisive action and I see it as a very positive trend.
George Kirikos is one of a handful of people willing to keep the bar set high for ICANN, Verisign, et al. and I commend him for this. Even though ICANN is "doing better" than they have in the past, it's public pressure that has helped get them to this point. The public can't stop speaking out - and with his petition and outspokenness George is effectively helping to put pressure on the big players for the public good.
