Why wouldn't it? If a reseller wanted a password that worked only on that reseller's web site, they could write their own password system to set and recognize the password given by the user (and generate and store a password for OpenSRS's system which it will pass to OpenSRS on subsequent logins). Passwords set in your system should work on your system and passwords set on OpenSRS's system should work on OpenSRS's system. I find it handy that domains at multiple resellers can be in the same profile and managed at one location -- otherwise customers with many domains who have some of them with me would probably go all or nothing. And the customers who are transfering domains one at a time to Rackshack as they expire would just transfer them all in one go.
