Why wouldn't it? If a reseller wanted a password that worked only on
that reseller's web site, they could write their own password system
to set and recognize the password given by the user (and generate
and store a password for OpenSRS's system which it will pass to
OpenSRS on subsequent logins). Passwords set in your system should
work on your system and passwords set on OpenSRS's system should
work on OpenSRS's system.

I find it handy that domains at multiple resellers can be in the
same profile and managed at one location -- otherwise customers with
many domains who have some of them with me would probably go all or
nothing. And the customers who are transfering domains one at a time
to Rackshack as they expire would just transfer them all in one go.
