But, on an absolute basis, ICANN is still a complete failure, and has a long way to go to gain any credibility. On a relative basis, NSI is supposedly better today than they were a couple of years ago. But, does anyone dispute they're amongst the worst registrars even today? Same with ICANN. If we hold them simply to relative standards of past mediocrity, that's a disservice. They should be held to external absolute standards of excellence and efficacy.
