Since there has been an interest in this... I'll update:

I got an email from Tobias Ratschiller mentioning about some earlier network
problems which didn't apply but could have some relation. He mentioned about
[EMAIL PROTECTED] which is an address I didn't have on file...
maybe I should have had... but it was the first time a heard of it and I've
never seen it published on our backend.

I sent them an email and got a reply about an hour later...

        Hello,

This has been escalated to network operations.
        This should be correctly shortly.

        Regards

Another hour or so later the problem was sorted...

Someone asked about why I didn't use the telephone, maybe I should have
tried to look for one but the thing here was:

http://www.opensrs.org/.emerg/ DOWN
http://status.tucows.com/ DOWN

so I was a bit lost at the time.

In any event... everything was dealt with in a few hours, but I can suggest
Tucows to include WITHIN resellers backend at least a clear emergency
procedure 24 hours a day (remember some (probably lots now) are in Europe)
and all possible contact details... emails and telephone.

Thanks.
Regards

Jose Luis
