I find commenting on blogs (except for perhaps slash or scoop) to be sub par. Perhaps whenever someone tries to comment on a blog posting, they are taken to the gmane view of that blog post on the mailinglist. They can repy there. You can still blog via wp, but all comments are through the mailinglist (either email or gmane).
