I really feel like the concerns over all the google things are a subset of
all 3.
1. I do think that theres a certain comfort in knowing once you unplug
that cable from the back all your data can be yours and yours alone but i
think we're moving towards a system where that will no longer be an option
no matter what.

2. Privacy, this is a big one, i really feel like for alot of us theres a
big ? when it comes to how secure our data is with any firm, where as we
have a stronger (maybe a nieve trust) in the power of a collective.
3. Simply put as much as google espouses open source ideology they are not
and never have been an open source company nor can we expect them to be.
