@Kevin - I think that's a great idea. I'm tempted to suggest we create
sublists, fc-hackers and fc-nerds errrr fc-academics to encourage more
specific participation (of course, this could backfire.)

Anyway, I think the Google victory was obvious and necessary. We should
probably a robust Safe Harbor as the consolation prize of the FC movement.
If we're stuck with the DMCA, at least we can strengthen the good bits. They
don't even have safe harbor protections in Germany (and perhaps the rest of
Europe, I'm not sure).

By the way, got eighty bucks? You too can receive the same kind of
protection Google has! I got DMCA safe-harbor status for my project, you may
be interested in doing the same for yours.
