Some organisations (I've observed it here in Australia) go beyond "just"
denying their staff admin access, but also actively prevent unknown
executables from running on PCs. Even portable apps are blocked. Giving
learners some resources to provide to local IT staff (Why is this software
useful? What does it do? What is the ongoing cost?) could be beneficial.
