Are you aware that there is a complete olvwm/Openwin package for Solaris
10 on freshmeat.net, assuming that is the direction you need to go?

Or, given your embedded system platform, is TWM an option for you?

Also, in reference to your ZFS comment below, and quoting the same 2009
thread, there was discussion of something called CZFS that is part of
the ARM Solaris port.

This is a verbatim quote from Darren Moffat from that discussion -

"Again see the ARM project there is an alternate build of ZFS called
CZFS which is specifically for limited memory configurations. "
