I'm working on something that will benefit the Illumos community, but
reading this post has deflated my enthusiasm :(
I've known Brendan for many years and I admire his dedication and
technical expertise. I also know that he can make a strong argument for
Solaris over Linux, Linux over Solaris, FreeBSD over Linux and so on.
Linux is his current passion and platform of interest so he's going to be
putting the effort in over there.
I wouldn't let a blog post from one man, no matter how well regarded, to
deflate your enthusiasm.
