A plurality of voices is important. That's why it is included in the list guidelines ( <http://gamma.ixda.org/about_guidelines.php> ). Single voices speaking incessantly are tiresome. If you find yourself at the top of the most active members list ( <http://gamma.ixda.org/ members.php> ) frequently, you might be guilty of this. Don't respond to every thread. Let threads drop occasionally. Listen. Write well and choose your words carefully. Trim the message you are responding to. Suggest new threads occasionally--on new topics. Read archives to see if the topic has been extensively discussed before. Ask, is there anything more to say on this topic? And yes, I know I break these guidelines too. :) Dan ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
