For me intuitive means how long does it take for the user to obtain the "I Get It" sensation. Depending on the medium that the user is working in the amount of time could be very short, or slightly pro-longed.
What I mean is, if you stumble across a website as an everyday web user and you don't get the "I Get It" feeling within a minute or so (if even that) then you are likely to look elsewhere. If you are using an application that you must use to accomplish a task at work, your more willing to spend some time trying to decipher what your trying to use. Getting the "I Get It" sensation gives you a sense of accomplishment and to a lesser extent joy. So if you never get to this point of realization as a user, chances are what you are experiencing is not very intuitive. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
