I was initially tripped up by this as well. I noticed it recently and made a mental note to go back and make some decisions about attending them.

Something else that's not clear though is the whether or not the designation that you're interested in a session means you have a reservation for that session.

Last year I remember the sessions being freeflowing. ie: you could designate interest in a session and still change your mind at the last minute and attend a different one in the time slot. (A good thing BTW).

But that gets a little blurry, particularly since you can express interest in the pre conf workshops, which require payment and do secure a reservation.

Maybe I missed something. I'll go back and look again.

Hi Timothy,

Sorry for the confusing messaging. It's definitely an issue as to
how we have communicated the flow of the conference, and as chair
I'll take the fall there. We have to charge extra for the workshops
because well the workshop leaders have to make their way for all
their hard work. It's a pretty common model for conferences. But we
have not done a good job communicating this. There are 3 free
workshops this year. 2 from Adobe and 1 local leaders summit.

Allot of things to learn for our young organization!
