I'm working in Beijing China as a UX / Interaction Designer. 1. Company In Beijing, there are a lot of local internet companies such as Sina, Baidu, Yahoo China or more. That companies have UX or UX related organization inside.
Join ventures or foreign companies such as Google, MS, Siemens or more also have. 2. Agency Additionally there are several agencies which available to conduct user researches. - ISAR http://www.isaruid.com/ (Beijing - also has a office in Shanghai) - Hyperlink http://www.hyperlink-china.com/ (Shanghai - also has a office in Beijing) - Apogee http://www.apogeehk.com / (Hongkong) 3. Schools Several university has related education programs but almost seems not to be mature and deep-enough. However Tsinghua university's Industrial Design / Industrial Engineering major's education programs are good. And Hongkong Polytechnic University has a Interaction Design as a major. I think it is also good. 4. Blogs There are some blogs caring UX / IxD. But many blogs are fulfilled with translated posts.
