Thanks Dave, in fact I *am* doing a few things. My goal here, however, was actually to turn that question around and encourage the board members who serve the members of these organizations to do everything they can to work together even more.
I also wanted to encourage discussion from the "thought leaders" and ask them what they're doing about broader thinking and collaboration - I think we've actually seen quite a lot of good back and forth (and of course the usual amount of sniping and character assassination ;-) So now perhaps we could turn the discussion to ideas for practical collaboration opportunities? I'll throw some of these ideas out: - A joint "UX Job site / board / whatever" - Someone had the idea of using JJGs "planes" to deconstruct products and analyze how IA and IxD work together. - Leveraging this excellent message board software for IAI I'll post more as I think of them, anyone else? - Richard . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
