This isn't going to help you decide much, but all those schools have good reputations.
Umea & Malmo are the most interaction design focussed and all the people that come out of them seem to be pretty rocking. Cologne has Birgit Mager running the service design research center and network there, if that's an area of interest. Helsinki is great for mobile projects and research, for obvious reasons. You might want to check out Hyper Island in Sweden too - it's more eclectic in terms of digital creative work, but you would experience lots of different aspects. Again, my friends at Poke tell me that every single intern they have had from there they have employed and they are invariably multi-faceted and excellent: http://www.hyperisland.se/ Best, Andy :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Andy Polaine Interaction & Experience Design Service Design Research Writing Twitter: apolaine Skype: apolaine http://www.polaine.com http://www.designersreviewofbooks.com http://www.omnium.net.au http://www.antirom.com . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
