Todd - Card sorting makes a good guerrilla method especially if you have already done some basic user research and have the terminology sorted out. There are lots of ways to do card sorts but we have our own tools and techniques which make even paper-based sorts fairly quick - see www.syntagm.co.uk/design/cardsorting.htm
