Kim, I LOVE your blog. Simply love the concept of what you are doing. This has been an issue that has been on my mind for a long time because I think there is a lot of similarlity between cooking/recipes/users and design/users. For example, when I visited Sunset Magazine recently at their open house, they described how they develop recipes and user test them in their test kitchen (does this sound familiar?!). Also, I think that magazines/restaurants have similar challenges introducing new things as creators of new digital experiences have.
How do magazines create new popular recipes when people like cooking old standby comfort foods? How do restaurants create buzz and a return customers? Although I don't think the problems are identical, I think there is definitely a lot of crossover. Thanks for putting this blog together!
