You don't have to be a member to be on the mailing lists. They're open. Just subscribe. Certainly. The systems that anyone would manage are constantly changing, of course. I was very amused over on the IPv6 thread to have so many people chime in about older systems, many of which I'd used. I come from a time when Systems Programming was an art, and valued highly, and it *was* more professional. I don't know that you're ever going to see it more organized, though. I believe it will remain fragmented, at least by industry. Feh. Too early for me.
