Something from a vendor other than Cisco, quite frankly, especially given your org size and financial requirements. There are quite a few good non-Cisco switch vendors, so I'll leave it up to the gentle readers here to pipe up with suggestions. > This is a small company, and while I want to get quality equipment, I > also don't want to break the bank. Foundry Super X -- quantity (ports-wise), managed, and at a price point that doesn't break the bank, IMO. Quality is great as long as you stick to layer 2 (L2) services. Their L3 code quality leaves quite a bit to be desired. :-) (L2 switching is, however, solid.) Alternatively, do you have a particular upper bound budget figure in mind? Might help folks here make better-targeted suggestions. -Dan _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
