I am not a lawyer, but it seems clear to me that Apple doesn't have
anything close to a monopoly on smartphones, and that tactics like this
aren't going to help them get one.
They have a monopoly on iPhones, but that's not much different from the
fact that Toyota has a monopoly on Priuses. And if the Prius only ran on
Toyotanium instead of gas, and you could only buy that from Toyota
stations, that still wouldn't give them a monopoly on anything other than
their own brand of stuff.
