Even when you're not specifically blocked from sharing, it's difficult
not to take one's role as a professional paranoid skeptic (kinda what
I feel like today...)  and spin it into "I can't share that because
someone might infer that I use it and then guess these other three
tidbits that would make it possible to penetrate our network"
