Is it possible that your computer firewall has blocked port 9000,
which streams the audio?

Hoping we can get this working....real bummer to have it die after

Did you try power-cycling the SB2? I've had mine lock up on me once,
when I got carried away with the fast-forward button, and in an
attempt
to make it stop fast-forwarding, hit the reverse button.
Have you tried anything else? Like plug it into a wired connection?
Does softsqueeze work? (The 6.02 software has a link to it at
http://localhost:9000/html/softsqueeze/applet.html. Or if you've got
winamp, you can try connecting to the URL
http://localhost:9000/stream.mp3 and see if that works...
(replace localhost in those urls with the appropriate address of your
slim server)
