Thanks for the complement. I've gone through a few prototypes, until I became satisfied with this one. As far as installation, I have a couple of ideas.
The first is to make clips out of some pretty resilient metal I have around that will be glued onto the back of the faceplates with Gorilla Glue. These clips will force pressure on the wall to keep the player firmly in place. When I need to remove the player, it will come out with a little effort. The other idea I have is to use my 18 guage brad nailer to pop 4 - 2 inch brad nails through the plate into the sheetrock. I'm not convinced that would be the best way to go. My last option is to use attractive screws (countersunk) - screwed through the player into a couple of anchors in the sheetrock. This might be the best way.
