I have been reading this and similar threads with interest, because my .m4a tracks won't play through my duet (while my mp3 tracks play just fine). My .m4a tracks are from CDs that were ripped using iTunes. I just set up my duet last night.
- I installed squeezecenter 7.2 on my windows home server (an hp mediasmart) - I have not installed quicktime on the server. Do I have to do that? >From other threads, I am not sure what version of quicktime, if any, would be necessary and would work on my windows server. I am just now downloading the pre-release 7.3 23191 of squeezecenter. Should I install that in place of 7.2? Will my .m4a tunes play then? Or, should I convert my .m4a to .mp3 in dBpoweramp? It would be about 6000 songs, so would take awhile and be a pain. Any advice on what my least painful option would be is very appreciated! -- what_to_buy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ what_to_buy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52048 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
