The server is in a co-lo facility and hosts about 20 Web sites with no
problem.

It has to have something to do with permissions. It installed in
/var/lib/squeezecenter and created an squeezecenter user, the whole tree
is owned by squeezecenter. I change the group to one I could write to
and changed the mode to the whole tree to 775. Where else is it trying
to write?

I am trying to make a stream so that when a friend and I are listening
to the music, we will hear the same thing, or I could have just used an
embed in a Web page. I would really like it if it was possible to just
click on a URL in a browser and start the stream, but it seems very
dependent on what the other person has installed. When I do the trick
with embed, I can put a flash player in the URL, is there a way to do
that with this? Thanks, you are very helpful. I like it that this
group talks about other things than the server, where I live was 75% for
Obama.
