Not sure what the Debian skin is - try Firefox or Classic? If the default skin isn't running, try deleting your browser cache and perhaps also your database cache. As you note, Squeezecenter runs under the user "squeezecenter" on Linux/UNIX. You'll need to make sure that your music files have their permissions set so that the "squeezecenter" user can read the files and has execute permissions on all directories within your music folder. It will also need execute permissions on whatever directory you have set as your playlist folder. If so, I don't think more than one person can access stream.mp3 at one time - although I've never tested this myself.
