I didn't do what you suggested because I the gesture conflicted with the wording and I wasn't sure what would be the best way to do this UI-wise. I have now thought of a nice way of doing it so I'm going to implement this in the next release. Regarding the playlists, I'm pretty sure it should pick up external changes to the playlist so I will investigate this over the weekend.
