For those having stuttering issues with 1080p (or even 720), it may come down to how you are streaming your content. If you stream over http rather than smb (using the free my ihome server), you get almost doule the bandwidth of smb streaming. This makes 1080p no problem, 720 no problem, and much improves FF/RW performance.
