I'm definitely a novice and apologize in advance if I'm asking this
question in the wrong place or if it has been covered elsewhere - I've
certainly looked for an answer, but haven't found one that seemed on
point. I'm considering getting an SBR (w/out SBC), using NAS running
SC on an onboard Ubuntu system and controlled w/ ipeng on ipod touch to
feed music stored on the NAS to my stereo without having my computer on.
Wondering if anyone has experience/pointers before I make the plunge.
Should I expect any issues setting up SBR on my laptop with Net::UDAP,
identifying the SBR through SC running on my NAS (connected to SBR by
ethernet through router) and using ipeng as controller using the
router's wifi (rather than P2P with the SBR) even when my laptop is
off? I assume once my SBR is set up, any devices running SC (such as
my NAS) will be able to find it, but not sure.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
