Thanks for the input, Calum. The NAS does run SC using an onboard Ubuntu system. Sounds like I should be able to make this work if I can just work my way through Net::UDAP - which may be no small feat for me. You are correct that I'm not going to use multiple devices running SC - I was just making the distinction between setting up the SBR through my laptop, then finding the SBR with another networked device (the NAS).
