I think that's a little bit to general. For example, in Germany you have an implied warranty of 2 years and the reseller is responsible. The point is, in the first 6 month it is supposed that the fault do already exist when the unit was delivered and the reseller has to prove if not. That's easy for the customer. But for the rest of the time the customer has to prove that the fault do already exist during delivery. That's not easy for the customer. This warranty is based on an European act!
