Only? How about different international power standards? need for isolation of data signal from mains? While powerline Ethernet works great when it works, it doesn't work in many cases, sometimes even in the same house. In the US, most houses are wired as two separate 120v systems off of a common 240v pair. Sometimes signals can flow easily, sometimes not. Seems like a huge potential for confusion among mass market, non-tech-saavy, consumers -- Pat Farrell http://www.pfarrell.com/ _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
