Thanks, awesome catch there. I'd never looked for this, and there it is, under the mysb.com tab in SBS settings... the big question is, does synchronization mean that mysb.com settings obliterate the SBS settings when in doubt? It could be cool if I could in fact backup individual players' settings to mysb.com (provided the latter never develops a mind of its own) since storing stuff in the cloud is so trendy these days. :-) However, it has happened to me 3 times since installing 7.4.1 that my settings get overwritten or simply obliterated. And I have had 3 other users tell me they experienced a similar occurrence at a similar time. Whether we are all Linux users I do not know, but it would hope that doesn't make a difference... Thanks everybody for your comments and help. As always, in the process of fixing something I learn more stuff from fellow SB users. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: sbsscreen.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=9198| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- pablolie ...pablo Server: Shuttle X27D - Ubuntu 8.04LTS - SBS 7.4.1 Sources: SB3 (3), SB Boom (3), Duet (1), Accuphase DP65v CD Amplifier: Accuphase E306v - Creek OBH21/22 Loudspeakers: Ceeroy 3-way tower (tuned) - Audioengine 5/S8 - Acoustic Energy Aego M Headphones: Grado SR-1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74819 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
