If you have some time, I think it would be really helpful for Logitech if tried to reproduce it. As an example, have you edited any player settings on MySB.com ? If you did, maybe that could have caused a settings synchronization to happened that overwrote the settings of all your other players ? If this is the case, did you only change the Radio settings on MySB.com or did you also change some configuration on the old players ? It feels like the synchronization mechanism should use the settings that are latest, so if they weren't synchronized and you did some MySB.com change this might have resulted in the that MySB.com settings were considered latest and thus caused them to overwrite the SBS settings. Another scenario might be that your player maybe actually was connected to MySB.com as this is sometimes the case in SBS 7.4 even though you aren't aware of it. You will see it's the case when you try to access your local library and it asks you to switch library. Isn't the third party "Settings Manager" plugin supposed to solve this backup problem on individual players ? If it does, my feeling is that there has to me more important issues which Logitech should focus on. The nasty bug you found still need to be fixed though. pablolie;513506 Wrote: > > It is also worthless for upgrades since there is absolutely no forward > compatibility guarantee. > As long as you do regular backups you should be fine, SBS has so far always been able to upgrade configuration from the previous release. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74819 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
