Hi, and welcome to the forum. I'm wondering how you can have music
everywhere, yet not have it in your music room ;-).

As others have pointed out, you can sync hardware players easily and it
works well. I regularly sync at least 3 of my players. The software
players is another issue since they are likely to never really be in
true sync.

Reguarding your need to play through the your PC in the lounge - would
it be possible to get a hardware player (i.e. a receiver, which is the
player part of the duet) and connect it to a line in on your PC? This
would give you the sync and control of a hardware player but have the
sound coming out of the common point of your PC. Keep in mind you have
a variety of outputs to work with from the squeezebox receiver - analog,
optical, and coax.

Regarding your other locations - I think they could be well served with
other SB products, like the Boom or Radio.

Oh, and a side note. Keep in mind that the squeezebox reciever is
currently out of stock in the US and there is no date for when stock
will be replenished. Logitech has said that they are having more
manufactured and they will be available again at some point.

Enjoy!
