I've noticed Amazon.com has new, slightly discounted SB3 Classic units in stock. The seller is -among others- amazon, and while the stock does not seem high the offer has been running for a week or 2 already. For ~ $230 you could get a spare SB3 and a new remote ? Look for "Logitech Squeezebox" on Amazon.com
