Very interested in this thread as I am about to do exactly the same and
like you have very little knowledge of DOS and indeed have never built a
PC before. Can I ask where you got your bits from I have compiled a
shopping list at the mini-itx.com site and all in it will cost me about
£250 I think.

Of course after vortexbox and SBS are installed I need to get my head
around how I access the now headless PC...
