I was approaching the swiping by thinking of it working the same way iBooks and Stanza work, they use swipe left to go forward and swipe left to go back. Also things like the standard photo app use the same directions.
I'd personally prefer the swiping to the two fingered tapping at different parts of the screen, though I expect many people would disagree with me. If you did implement swiping then you could indicate that something was going on the same way that photo apps do. i.e. when the swipe starts, start moving the album art in the direction of the swipe and only actually change track when they have swiped far enough (or given enough of a flick to indicate they definitely want to change track). -- andynormancx Yes, it will.
