...and a thought... Have you considered displaying the album art at a slightly higher resolution? I love the big art, but that just makes me want it even bigger. If it could be configured by the user that would keep everyone happy.
I'd love the option to sacrifice the top and side borders to get the cover larger. I'm also thinking there's not too much going at the right hand side of the light grey bar at the top of the screen. If the volume control could be found a new home, that would free up enough screen estate to have album covers life (same as CD insert) size! That would surely be a good selling point....
