I came on board about a year or so before logictech took over. For me
the SB3 was a eye opening event, as I had suffered with much more
inferior products. The only issuse I have ever had is with the
software, and it may have been as simple as just recommending low and
high point comp to run it. I have used 4 different comp as my servers
from a PIII 700 hz w/512 mem, Laptop 1.2Ghz P4 w/1gig Ram, P4, P4
1.2Ghz w/750 ram and now P4 3ghz W/2gig Ram. The last system is
running the LMS the best ever, but is overkill according to what is
able to run the LMS. Due to the clunky GUI of the past SBS it made
having a large collection a nightmare and creating playlists time
comsuming. I had lesser poducts that were compatible with
J.River/Jukebox and MSMP right out the box.

I don't recommend SB's to the light hearted or computer novice, for you
will need above average skills to handle the small quirks that come up
with network issues, playback issues and my current problem that the
LMS shuts off on its own leaving me with blank SB's, But when its
working its one of the most enjoyable times of my day/week.
