I believe "hit and miss" might appropriately describe the current situation for syncing SW players, and I'm not sure SqueezePlay is significantly better than the others in that respect. Some tinkering is going on in the dimly lit dens of enthusiasts, seriously doubt that it has made a noticeable dent in the hardware sales for Logitech though.
As of now I don't think there are any software players that fully emulate their hardware counterparts, especially when it comes to the increasingly popular online music services, Logitech didn't give it all away. Seriously, look at the major changes in the way people listen to music during the last 5 years, isn't that a more likely "culprit" behind Logitech changing direction, rather than some hobbyists (who often own quite a lot of SB HW) and a few garage companies messing with software players. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ alfista's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32396 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96371 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
