It appears the consensus of most is that a "new device" built from the ground up would be too time consuming and possibly the market to the masses is not there. So to Triodes point as well as others, what about looking into existing ARM based products and pairing them with a nice external DAC for the use with squeezelite? I have done some research on new and upcoming devices.
