A cloud server focused on account management, integration with premium
streaming providers and some other exciting functionality.

For local servers our current focus is to integrate with existing
content servers instead of providing our own, integration with LMS is
already working in the beta software and integration with other content
services, for example UPnP/DLNA which doesn't have to be executed on a
computer, is also a priority. There are many good content servers for
local music, LMS is one of the best, we don't think it's important that
we provide our own at this stage. This could of course change on longer
terms because there is nothing in ickStream architecture which ties it
to a specific content server product, but we generally prefer to
collaborate with other projects than implementing the same thing
ourselves if the other projects already provides something that fits and
have an API.

If any developer is reading this and would like to help us implementing
an integration with a content server you like, please let us know via
mail or PM.

It depends on which content server you use, generally the plan is that
if the content server, for example LMS, runs on multiple platforms so
will the integration with it.
