That was what I was fearing! At some point I'll try using a friend's SIM to see if that changes things. I may also play around with ports. I assume it's port 9000 that seems to be blocked by my mobile provider (O2, in the Uk). I wonder is OrangeSqueeze suffers from the same problem - I guess so.
