These are all great suggestions. I have definitely used Pandora a lot in the past and I like Spotify's recommendations as well, but I am almost overwhelmed by how much there is out there. Its like i want my old local record store back where I can just go in and ask what's good and they can give me a couple of records that I can really get into. I am getting over the "if you liked this, you will also like this" recommendation engines. I guess I miss the human element.
I have been working on this idea at www.boxsett.com (which I talked about in a thread a long time ago on here), but I am having a bit of trouble getting traction with labels (although I haven't tried too hard yet). Do other people have music issues like me or are you all happy with the selection you have nowadays? Thanks for the continued feedback!
