That's actually a perfect plan!!! I just set up Squeeze2Upnp, and it works perfectly with my AMP, meaning I son't need the Pi in the lounge anymore...if it works with the Chromecast Audio as well, then that means I can keep LMS, but still use the Chromecast devices to stream from LMS (webradio and Qobuz for example) and still cast from Chrome or Android with apps like "Play Music". This is pretty much perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Squeeze2Upnp Plugin was something I always ignored so far since I saw little advantage in using it, now I know better. I handles HighRes streams from Qobuz fine btw., so no trouble there either.
Is the Chromecast Audio fully compatible with DLNA!
