If you replaced all your SB players - I agree it makes no sense. This thread started by user hypothesising about using the Chrombebix hardware and replacing the s/w - besides not being possible at the moment some very odd ideas were suggested (put LMS on Chromecast !!) so I wanted to ground the thread into reaility about what could be achieved. The only use case I can see is where a user has a number of SB players but say wants some speakers in Kitchen ( but has no spare SB player). The Kitchen speakers will also be used by partner, kids etc from their devices. Bluetooth speakers have quality issues as well as connectivity.
